Lose Belly Fat

Want to Reduce Belly Fat? (Not my opinion but evidence based science)
In the December 2014 issue of Obesity, a study published by Dr. Rania McKary from the Department of Nutrition Harvard School of Public Health looked at exercise and belly fat. The study evaluated 10,500 healthy men in the US over the age of 40 between 1996-2008. She tracked the physical activity of each man as well as weight and waist circumference. The 12 year study results showed that the men who increased time in the gym strength training by as little as 20 minutes daily had smaller waist size increase when compared to men who spent more time on the treadmill. Aerobic activity was recommended for cardiovascular benefits also but “ Engaging in resistance training or ideally combining it with aerobic exercise could help older adults lessen abdominal fat while increasing or preserving muscle mass” says McKary.
Let me design a well balanced training plan that incorporates both aerobic and strength training elements into your workout. Maximize your time in the gym with a personally developed plan designed specifically for you. Safe, effective and results driven.
